The Henry Kleinschmidt & Marley Clear Quintet is a dynamic young jazz ensemble based in Brisbane. Inspired by jazz greats such as Cannonball Adderley, Freddie Hubbard, and modern greats such as Kenny Garrett, the Henry Kleinschmidt & Marley Clear Quintetprovides a fresh take on jazz, while maintaining a strong admiration for tradition. Prepare for a night of the Hard Bop sounds of the ‘60s blended with the modern sounds of today.
Led by Henry Kleinschmidt on Alto/Soprano Saxophone and Marley Clear on Trumpet, the quintet includes up-and-coming talent in the Brisbane jazz scene, Oscar Benjamin-Wood on Piano, Marcus Carruthers on Bass and Sebastian Wright on Drums.
